June Stamp Club 2

ThoughtFul Daisy Card

inspired by Cindee Wilkinson's Daisy Delight Coneflower card

  • Calypso Coral or Daffodil Delight card base - 8 1/2" by 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
  • Delightful Daisy designer series paper - 4" by 5 1/4" and various pieces for flowers.
  • Whisper White cardstock - 3 1/4" by 4 1/2" (layer) and 3 3/4" by 5" for the inside. Scrap for the sentiment.
  • Early Espresso scraps big enough for 3 circles or ovals to be punch our

Stamp the sentiment on the scrap and cut out using the Stitched Framelits.  Add 3 White Perfect Accents under the sentiment and add a couple of dimensionals to the back side.
Place the Early Espresso scrap in the Softly Falling embossing folder and run through your big shot. Punch or die cut 3 small circles or ovals  for the flower center. I used an old small oval punch.
Stamp 3 daisies on on the designer paper, punch out with the Daisy Punch, and cut each daisy in half. Layer 2 halves one on top of the other, offsetting the petals to fill in the empty spots and adhere. Do the same with the remaining halves. Adhere the flower center and gently shape the petals with a bone folder. Place 1 or 2 dimensionals on the back side of the flower center.
Stamp 3 stems with leaves on the white front layer at various heights. You can curve the stem on your stamp block.
Put your layers together on the card base (including the piece with the stems).
Add your flowers and sentiment and DONE!
