June's Sassy Girls' Stamp Club 1

Know That I Care Card

The Mint Macaron card base is cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and scored at 4 1/2".  The layer is 5 1/4" x 4" and there is a Whisper White layer  of the same dimensions for this inside.
Use the Embossing Buddy to prepare the layer for embossing. Then with Versa Mark ink stamp the stem and 2 sizes of the little puff balls from the Balloon Celebration stamp set to make the 'dandelion'. I cut apart the sentiment from the Thoughts and Prayers Stamp set to use just bottom of the sentiment, but you could cover it with a sticky note before inking the stamp and removing the sticky not before stamping. Sprinkle with white embossing powder and return excess to the container. Use a heat tool to set the embossing powder. Adhere with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Retirement Card

I need two retirement cards for work this past week for two amazing teachers. I thought the sentiment from the Hello Life stamp set was perfect for a big statement on a simple card.

The Mint Macaron card base was cut at 8 1/2"x 5 1/2" and scored at 4 1/4".
The outside layers are Basic Black layer is 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" and  Pretty Petals  layer is 4" x 5 1/4"
The inside layers are Basic Black at 5 1/4 x 4" and Very Vanilla at 5" x 3 3/4".
I used scraps to make a nice little layered strip to write the recipients' names.

Putting the cards together was very easy. Just stamp the sentiment with Versa Mark, sprinkle with gold embossing powder and heat with the heat tool. Put all of the layers together. Done!

I could not get a good photo with both the card and the envelope without the glare!
